A series of works created in the memory of
my ancestral house.
After my grandfather's death, the reason for
me to go to my native place was the ancestral
house. Very recently it was broken down. The
reason to visit my native place is gone. But all
the time I spent there is still in my mind. A
architectural structure which held the
memories of the people who lived/spent time
there has now become a memory itself. The
structure to which the rope of attachment was
tethered is now intangible. The ideal home,
which he spent his entire life to create
intermittently is now a big heap of debris. A
place which once was so precious has
disappeared with dynamic time.
